COMMON DOWNLOAD PROBLEMS & FIXES
The four problems readers actually hit — and the fix for each.
The download does not start
Check your connection, then tap Download Now again. Browser download managers occasionally need a second tap after a permission prompt. If you are on hotel or café Wi-Fi, complete its sign-in page in the browser first — those networks block downloads until you do.
“Install blocked” or “For your security…” message
That is step 2 of the guide above: Android has not yet been told to allow installs from your browser. Open Settings, then Security, allow installs for your browser for this one install, and open the file again.
“App not installed” error
Almost always low storage or a half-downloaded file. Free some space (keep about 20 MB clear), delete the partial file from Downloads, and download again from this page. If an older unofficial copy is installed, uninstall it first — its signature will not match ours.
The file downloads but will not open
